DHA LICENSE NURSE Hi, I'm Ann Leary Rivera, 42 years old married with only one child. A licensed nurse in the Philippines and in Dubai UAE. I worked as a hospital nurse in the Philippines for 3 years and designated to different department before I decided to work here in UAE. I had been here in Dubai for almost 7 years and worked as a licensed homecare nurse. I had been handling clinical care patients and geriatric requiring professional nursing care. I always show empathy and care to my patients, treat them not only as a patient but as a family as well. I am confident at what I do and with my skills as a homecare nurse. As an open-minded person, I always respect the ideas or suggestions of others /my colleagues to have a harmonic working environment. If you want to stay long in your chosen career you need to be persistent, focus on your work, do things not only because I need to do it but because I love doing it. “ Ann obtained her bachelor’s degree in Nursing Science from her home country, the Philippines and graduated in 2011. She gained experience, working in a multidisciplinary hospital in the medical, surgical, ICU, paediatric and NICU departments, before she relocated to Dubai. She holds a DHA license. She had been working with clinical cases, paediatric cases and school health nursing since joining EHN. She participates in continuous training events to ensure she stays up to date with current practices and improve her skills and knowledge in handling clinical cases, new-born and childcare. Handling babies safely, assist in feeding, implements daily routine. She has completed her Basic Life Support (BLS) and First Aid course.
