DHA LICENSE NURSE: My name is Hannah Jane. I am 28 years old. As a nurse I came to experience caring for people who are at the beginning of their life and to those who are at the end of life. It’s a varied experience but left me with valuable nursing skills and knowledge. For me being a nurse is a calling and I am passionate about sharing my time to help others, thus I became a volunteer nurse right after I became a registered nurse and again during the start of the pandemic when there was a shortage of frontliners. It’s a work like no other. At the end of the day, if I made my patient smile and felt good about themselves that is an achievement. I am a very sociable, I get along with my clients well. I love to read, it’s what I usually do during my free time.” Hannah Jane acquired her bachelor’s degree in Nursing from the Philippines and obtained her Philippine nursing license as well. Moreover, she has a training on Intravenous Therapy. She gained experience working in NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit) and Paediatric Ward where she dealt with infants and children. She was also assigned in the Medical-Surgical department, dealing with adult patients primarily providing care before and after surgical procedures. She has managed patients from various age group and is versatile in her nursing practice. She has a valid Registered Nurse license from Dubai Health Authority. In EHN she handled clients requiring clinical care, like dementia, DM, post-operative care, furthermore she gained experience in school nursing. She shows great dedication towards her work and is a compassionate person in addition to this she has strong interpersonal skills which enables her to connect well with her clients She continuously participates in education events to ensure she is up to date with current nursing practices. She has completed her Basic Life Support (BLS) and First Aid course.
