ROGELYN PERMISON
Hi, my name is Rogelyn, 40 years old and married with 1 child. I had been in the nursing field for more than 12 years now One of the reasons I am passionate about my profession is the sense of fulfilment I get when caring for someone and making a difference in their life - no matter how small that may be. I love making Filipino sweets. I am also fond of crocheting and cross-stitching. I live by the saying that goes “Do all the good you can and make as little fuss about it as possible.”“ Rogelyn obtained her bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Philippines. She has experience in different health care setting such as in patient, ambulatory care, and school nursing. She had also been a nurse therapist/ basic life skills coach wherein she renders care that aims to help children and adults with mental, physical, or social disabilities to engage in purposeful activities to promote, regain or maintain health and well-being, devise treatment programs to increase the patient’s ability to carry out activities independently, and with more self-confidence. In EHN she further developed her skills in handling clinical cases and geriatric care. She has handled patients with tracheostomy, mechanical ventilator, IFC, and limited mobility. She is very active in joining medical education programs to update her nursing knowledge and skills. Moreover, she is calm, patient, hard-working and with good analytical skills. She has completed her Basic Life Support (BLS) and First Aid.
